DELTA PRISM app for iPhone and iPad

DELTA PRISM is a communicator for the AIR CREW to stay in touch with the Flight Management Center (FMC) of Delta Air Wing (Private) Limited with reasonable network connectivity or within GPS coverage. with basic usage, the user will be able to communicate with FMC through SMS, Email or through Live Chat, advanced features include SOS, Hotlines, Flight Folder and Live Tracking functions.

The SOS functionality is sensitive feature enables the user device to transmit geo-location that may be used in case of any Urgency or Emergency by FMC to activate the advisory evacuation procedures to an Air Operator’s Operations Control Center when operating away from the base. By sending the SOS notification, the user authorizes DELTA AIR WING (PVT) LTD to share user defined location with Governmental bodies or concerned authorities to rescue.

SOS Alarms: FMC may activate its procedures only for the flights that are operating away from home base and are managed by Delta Air Wing (PVT) LTD. Notifications are treated as false alarms, if the system shows no active flights at shared location during past 12 hrs.

This feature requires internet connectivity during usage: To activate SOS the user requires 3 quick taps on the icon to transmit the SOS notification. SOS disables for 30 minutes upon every transmission.

Hotlines Functionality is to give global communication coverage to the Pilots. These hotlines are established for selected flights depending upon the area of operation. By calling the established hotline will disengage the FMC lines to give the priority to airborne Pilots either to get inflight advisories or to activate regional Search and Rescue Plans or to relay messages to respective OCC or ATC Units.

Missions function is to activate Air Mission.

Flight Folder retrieves the Flight Documents hosted by the FMC.

Live Tracking function is to track the aircraft with ICAO 24 Bit Code.

Microphone Record audio to share through Email or Live Chat.
Phone Direct calling phone number(s)

The user can disable access to these permissions in device settings.
